I booked the basic service and gave the car in morning, told him that I am planning to go for the inspection soon so check from that perspective and suggest me if something needs to be done. Got a callback from the service center and he told me that the front Shock absorbers are leaking and rear disks and brake pads are in very bad condition, the car will definitely fail in inspection if I don't change those. I asked for a quote which was very high so I said not to do anything except service. 2 Days later I went for inspection and it passed without any changes. Also they didn't do the things as per basic sevice where basic lubrication of doors was included, I checked that upon pickup and asked for the same, they did it but i don't know if they ahve performed what was written in autobutler quote. In the end I was asked to pay 1490 for the service where I booked for 999, reason the extra 1.6l engine oil costed me around 500. I should have asked earlier or he should've told me how much it will cost. will not recommend this workshop to anyone, they are trying to fool you to get more work and charge you unreasonable amounts.

First and foremost, we would like to clarify that the remarks you received concerning your brakes—specifically the rust edge and the wear level corresponding to approximately 35% remaining on the brake pads—were provided strictly as a recommendation and not as a mandatory repair. At present, this condition does not constitute a safety risk. However, it is likely that the brake pads will require replacement within the coming months. Naturally, in their current state, they are still sufficient for your vehicle to pass inspection. Regarding the shock absorbers, our technician identified oil leakage, which may result in reduced driving stability and could pose a risk, particularly during cornering or similar maneuvers. For this reason, replacement is strongly advisable. That said, the technician cleaned the visible leakage during the inspection process, allowing the components to be marked as checked. Consequently, the inspection authority did not observe the leakage and approved the vehicle. After some driving, you may notice the leakage again, which would confirm the need for replacement—this reflects the actual condition of your vehicle. As for the lubrication of doors, handles, and similar components, this was carried out on-site in your presence and resolved immediately. Please allow us to emphasize that you are a highly valued customer among the many clients we serve. Det bokade oljebytet är tyvärr inte korrekt anpassat för denna typ av premiumbil. För en Mercedes-Benz krävs specifika serviceåtgärder och godkända oljespecifikationer som går utöver ett standardoljebyte. Dessutom har serviceintervallet överskridits med cirka 17 000 km, vilket innebär att bilen är i behov av en mer omfattande service för att säkerställa fortsatt driftsäkerhet och för att undvika eventuella följdskador. Enligt servicehistoriken och körsträckan behöver bilen genomgå följande serviceintervall: 1, 2, 3, 4, 8 och 11. Dessa inkluderar bland annat: Service 1: Oljebyte med korrekt specifikation, oljefilter samt allmän kontroll av fordonet Service 2: Luftfilter, kupéfilter samt utökad kontroll av bromsar och vätskor Service 3: Bränslefilter (för vissa motorer), tändstift (bensinmotorer) samt systemkontroller Service 4: Byte av bromsvätska och kontroll av bromssystem Service 8: Byte av växellådsolja (vid behov/beroende på modell) samt kontroll av drivlina Service 11: Mer omfattande genomgång inklusive kontroll av fjädring, styrning och säkerhetssystem Vi står bakom vårt arbete och vårt varumärke, och i detta läge kan vi tyvärr inte tillmötesgå kundens begäran om ett enbart oljebyte, då det inte är förenligt med tillverkarens riktlinjer eller fordonets behov.
